FriendNet

Main

Are you tired of not finding enough players in your guild or friend list? FriendNet gives you a much larger pool of people who are fun to play with by allowing you to view the friends of your friends. Friend lists are shared between FriendNet users who are friends with each other, or know each other through a common friend. Your friend list will not be shared with strangers. The friends of your friends are saved separately, so your original friend list will remain untouched.

Sharing your friends with a single other FriendNet user might already double the number of people you "know". The more people are using FriendNet, the better it works, so encourage your friends to use it.

FriendNet requires no configuration. Clicking on the FriendNet icon on your minimap brings up an extended friend list that contains your friends and the friends of your friends who are currently online. You may also type /fn to bring up the window. When you receive a whisper from an unknown player and FriendNet recognizes you know that player through a friend, it will display a message in your chat window so you know you're not dealing with a total stranger. You can also look up a player directly by typing /fnwho <Playername>.
