Pusikas' Spellflash: Hunter

flashing in action

Features

  • All 3 specs supported
  • Changes rotation depending on how long a mob is going to live
  • All talents supported (more or less)
  • Automatic AoE detection

What this is not

  • This is not a boss mod. This SpellFlash module is not going to do anything encounter-specific.
  • There are other addons that can tell you what pets to use for what group composition. This module currently won't help you with that.
  • You will have to learn how to move during fights. Addons can't move your feet for you.
  • You will have to learn boss mechanics to be a successful raider. Addons won't save you from that. While SpellFlash modules like this one can help increase your damage on Patchwerk-like fights, there are better ways to press your buttons in most other boss fights.

Priorities

All Specs

  • Aspect of the Hawk while standing still. Aspect of the Cheetah when moving and no enemies near. Won't flash while mounted.
  • Hunter's Mark, unless you are glyphed into Marked For Death
  • Call Pet and Revive Pet if you do not have a pet out.
  • Mend Pet when the pet is below 80% or if you are glyphed into it and your pet is debuffed.
  • Silencing Shot to interrupt spellcasting
  • Concussive Shot if a non-boss enemy is moving towards you
  • Disengage when en enemy is too close or when movement impaired and you have Posthaste
  • Feign Death to drop aggro or if you are low on HP and an enemy is on you
  • Master's Call if you or your pet are movement impaired
  • Widow Venom if you target is missing the debuff (not very useful, most likely)
  • Exhilaration if you are below 70% HP or your pet is below 50%.
  • There are various checks for haste buffs. These currently include: Unholy Frenzy (DK Talent), Time Warp / Bloodlust / Heroism / Ancient Hysteria, Berserking (Troll racial), Rapid Fire (yes, your own buff), Chronohunter (Hunter 4T13 proc). The latter one shouldn't be important for lvl90.

Beastmaster

AoE

  • If you can hit at least 2 targets with it, use Explosive Trap.
  • Module will switch to AoE rotation if you use Mulit-Shot and hit 6 or more targets with it. If you have more than 5 (6+) targets you can hit with Multi-Shot, use that when it flashes purple.
  • Will drop out of AoE rotation if you don't hit 6 or more targets with Multi-Shot for more than 3 seconds.

  19. Fervor if focus <= 50
  20. Cobra Shot if Serpent Sting < 6sec
  21. Arcane Shot if it won't interfere with Explosive Shot and Black Arrow
  22. Cobra Shot

AoE

  • If you can hit at least 2 targets with it, use Explosive Trap.
  • Module will switch to AoE rotation if you use Mulit-Shot and hit 6 or more targets with it. If you have more than 2 (3+) targets you can hit with Multi-Shot, use that when it flashes purple.
  • Will drop out of AoE rotation if you don't hit 3 or more targets with Multi-Shot for more than 3 seconds.

ToDo / missing stuff

  • test whether Multi-Shot really is a DPS improvement vs single target with TotH for SV
  • include CC and interrupts
