PvEFrames

Just another example, 4 targets

PvEFrames is an add-on that sets up 8 frames that allow targeting and the display the health, mana, reaction, threat, and target of target of units based on their raid icon. In addition, 4 more frames are set up for bosses and other units that may be helpful to target during boss fights. The frames look like blizzard's focus frame so they fit in with the default UI very nicely. Slash commands include '/pveframes' or '/pve' followed by:

  1. help -> lists these commands and brings up the options panel
  2. enable/disable -> allows/prevents the frames from functioning
  3. lock/unlock -> unlock the frames to allow movement
  4. reset -> resets the frames to the center of the screen
  5. spell 'spellname' -> selects which spell to cast on right click

spell 'spellname' -> This uses a /cast command which has to be targeted on your target, so make sure the red bar is next to the correct raid icon (or look at your target frame) before casting your spell.

Frame Clicks:
Left: Target
Middle: De-select Target (can be useful when 2+ mobs have the same name and you want to try targeting the correct one quickly)
Right: Casts the spell you select

When unlocked, press and drag with the left mouse button to move the frame.

Note: This addon targets by using a "/targetexact" command, so it will not work 100% of the time if 2+ mobs have the same name.
-Also the target cannot update in combat, so if a pull has been made it is too late to put raid target icons up for the purpose of this add-on. The frame will still display health, mana, reaction, threat, and target of target, if the frame was being displayed when combat was entered.
-If you have used an earlier version of PvEFrames, it would be a good idea to delete the saved variables from your WTF folder for this version, but it is not needed.

3.0 Changes
Added in the Boss and MiniBoss frames. They currently support all WotLK Heroics and Raids, except for Naxxramas. There has been limited testing at the point.

Future Plans

  1. Add in the display of debuffs (and possibly buffs) for the frames, just like Blizzard's focus frame does.
  2. Add in the display of casting bars for each of the frames.
  3. Add an option to toggle between display of health and mana numbers, and health and mana percentages.
  4. Add in a way to display which frame (if any) you are currently targeting.
  5. Add in support for Naxxramas (in progress).

Feel free to leave any comments/suggestions in the comments section. All ideas will be taken into consideration.
I would also like to know any errors that occur and if you feel the the chosen units for a boss fight are not the best choices.
