I made this addon for my 10 man raid group to make changing people for farm bosses more comfortable and less time consuming. It allows every player who has this addon to mark his needs and synchronize it with all the other players in your raid. In the end you have several possibilities to see who can leave the raid and who should come instead.
How to use
You reach every window from the minimap button.
Overview
A left click opens the overview frame where you see if a person has needs for every boss in a specific raid in a table. Green means first need while blue is a sec need. When you hover over a square you see a tooltip with the items the person needs.
Wish list
A right click opens your wish-list, where you can choose a raid and boss and set your needs. Every change while you are in a raid is automatic synchronized. For fast recognition there is a color code for the item background
- green - only you have a first need (gl ;) )
- yellow - only one person needs this for his/her main spec
- red - well, prepare to fight for this item :)
- blue - just sec needs on this item
Options
A shift-left click opens the option frame. The most important option is to lock your raid squad so you only gets items in your database from characters you want. To allow new chars to sync with you you can add them manual. You can also check if the addon should remove items you get via looting them from your item list (not always working). There is also a list of all characters in your database and you can remove
Personal Overview
You can get a list with all needs a person has by simply click on a name in your list from the option frame. If you click on your own name you are allowed to set your needs the fast way without searching through all bosses in the wish-list.
Chat commands
There are a few chat commands that are not available over the gui. All starts with a "/rn" :
- reset - Deletes your entire database with needs
- rolecheck - tries to figure out your role by your spec and equip
- role ROLE - sets your role manual
- Tank
- Heal
- rDD
- mDD
- removeplayer NAME - removes the player from your database
Syncing
As of v1.004 there is a full sync when you join a raid. After that every item is synchronized automatically until you leave the raid.
