Raid Assistant Assistant

What it does

Raid Assistant Assistant automatically promotes people of certain ranks from your guild to Raid Assistant when they join your raid. This is useful for raid leaders who always like to promote guild officers in every raid, for example.

How to do it

By default, Raid Assistant Assistant does nothing; you have to choose your ranks first. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Raid Assistant Assistant page in the AddOns tab of your Interface Settings window.
  2. Click Enable.
  3. Choose the guild ranks you wish to promote.

That's it! There is also a handy Run Now button that you can use to make the promotions after changing the ranks.

Once done, any time you are a raid leader and someone from your guild joins the raid, they will automatically be promoted to Raid Assistant if they have one of your chosen guild ranks.

Slash commands

/raa enable
Enables/disables promotions.
/raa run
Promotes the people already in your raid (useful after changing ranks).

You may also use /rassass for slash commands.
