82 - Buffs / Debuffs... Cast By
- What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
Right now, in buffs and debuffs we have the following "Cast By" options: Player, Pet, Other, Anyone. The most optimal for the least clutter is usually to set it to Player, so that you only see whatever you cast, ignoring everyone else's spells on the target. However, there are some bosses that cast special spells that people have to be aware of.
My suggestion is to add an option that would let us see such buff/debuffs. I guess we could call it Target, but it would get messy in PvP. Perhaps call it "NPC Target"? or even add both options: "NPC Target" and "PC Target".
This way, we would be able to see what the target has cast on itself, while ignoring everyone else's spells. I think this could prove useful in many situations PvE and PvP both alike.

Tomber Mar 29, 2011 at 22:57 UTC - 0 likesAlpha r141 includes support for target and focus Cast By settings. I still need to do a bit more testing of this feature but I plan to include it in the upcoming multi-target bar group release.
