The primary goal of RDX is to manage the User Interface of World of Warcraft.
A lot of elements of the default Blizzard User Interface are disabled and replaced by RDX. And of course, RDX do not use third party addons or third party libraries. RDX is a single addon to do a lot of things.
Examples of element that RDX is replacing : playerframe, targetframe, raidframes, arenaframes, bossframes, Classbarframe, ActionBar, ChatFrames, Buff, Debuff, Spell frames, Casting Bars, cooldown frames, panels etc ...
Integrated Development Environment
RDX has a powerful builtin IDE to create the various elements of your UI. All you need is to focus on the design (where to put the frames, the length and width of the healthbar, the various color of the power bar or the font of your text)
RDX will generate automatically the LUA code of the design and execute it for you. You don't need to learn LUA.
If you are a photoshop designer, RDX is for you. Import your textures and start design your uniframes.
The IDE has a preview panel where you can see your design in real time. No need to do some reloadUI to apply change.
Just imagine, you are working on your UI and your guild leader told you to go on the raid immediately. Ok no problem, just switch to your full operational UI and go to raid. (And without doing a reloadUI)
