Gem optimization can be a tricky thing. RhadaTip tried to help you make more informed decisions in a number of ways.

First, RhadaTip leverages your stat scales to calculate the potential DPS of a gem when you hover over one. The gem can be anywhere... your bags, the auction house, our even the crafting pane. The value is always right there with your gems.

Second, RhadaTip keeps track of your current gem counts so you don't have to. When swapping gear, it can be hard to keep track of exactly how many of each gem you have equipped. A single miss-gem could mean losing out on hundreds of DPS when your meta gem deactivates on your helm. Below the dps of every gem is a count of how many red, blue, and green gems you are currently using.

Third, RhadaTip comes with a gem optimizer. You can find it by typing /rt og. The gem optimizer's use is two-fold. On the left hand-side, it shows the best gem of each color, based on your currently set scaling values. On the right hand-side, it will compute the optimal gemming of any item, be it an item that you already own (and therefore might be already gemmed), or an item that you don't own. It will also show what gain you will get by regemming, so that you can better evaluate if it is worth going for it. You can also manually enter an item id and optimize it.
