NOTICE
New in v0.90
Now when you try to get on a mount you currently don't own any of the Add On will try to mount you on the next slowest type of mount.
Also now if you want to hide the interface and use only the macros the Add On will remember this on a character by character bassis.
Beta Software
Please understand this Add-On is still under development and is likely to have a few bugs. If you find them please post in the comments below so that they can get fixed. Try to include as much information as you can.
Over View
A simple add on to allow you to pick the type of mount you want and then randomly mount any of the mounts you have of that type.
Click HERE to view currently supported mounts. Currently supports 74 different mounts.
I started the Add-On to not only allow me to get my mounts at random but to also allow people that like write macros take advantage of getting on a random mount. That is why I've set up a few low character slash commands that can be typed into the command prompt or used in macros to hop on a mount.
General Use
By default the Roll Out creates a floating window with 6 buttons set up in two rows of three. The top row of buttons are for flying mounts, 60% speed is left, 280% is in the middle, and 310% is on the right. The bottom row has on the left the button to call a random non-combat pet with the 60% speed ground mount in the middle and the 100% speed ground mount on the far right. Simply click one of the buttons and one of the mounts your character has of that type will be summoned.
Slash Commands
If you don't want to use the buttons but want to add a level of randomness to your summoning macros or you just prefer to type you can use the below slash command in the chat frame to get the same functionality as the buttons.
/ro 1 = Mount slow ground mounts (60% speed)
/ro 2 = Mount fast ground mounts (100% speed)
/ro 3 = Mount slow flight mounts (60% speed)
/ro 4 = Mount fast flight mounts (280% speed)
/ro 5 = Mount epic flight mounts (310% speed)
/ro 0 = call out a random non combat pet
/ro show = Shows the main Roll Out window (the one with the buttons)
/ro hide = Hides the main Roll Out window
/ro rebuild = forces Roll Out to rebuild your mount list (should happen automatically)
/ro lostmounts = opens a window listing all of your mounts not currently supported
Steps to get unsupported mounts supported
- In the game type "/ro lostmounts" (without the quotes)
- A window will open up listing all mounts you have not supported by Roll Out
- The text should be highlighted so cut the text (Ctrl+X in windows)
- This should cause the text to go away
- press the ESC key on your keyboard to close the window
- Visit this web site and make a comment for the add-on
- Paste the text into the comment box and post the comment.
- Watch for the next Roll Out up date and the mounts will be supported!
