7 - Dual-spec support is not working properly
SmartBuff has been working reliably enough here for months (with the exception of self-only buffs, see 2 posts below). But after I got dual-spec on an 80 Priest, it has completely stopped working properly on that character; so much so that I've had to stop using it.
SmartBuff v3.1 dev 2, WoW 3.1.3 live, USEnglish client/server. Obtained dual-spec (Holy/Disc) on an 80 Priest within the past two weeks. Fill out the second talent tree properly. Respec. From then on, SmartBuff fails to detect Priest buffs you need to recast on either yourself, party or raid members (Power Word:Fortitude, Divine Spirit, Prayer of Shadow Protection & the self-only InnerFire). Yes, I had its options fully set up properly prior to the dual-spec.
After noticing it stopping working, I relogged. It loaded properly. But still did not report when things needed rebuffing. So then exited, deleted SmartBuff's saved variables and logged back in. Set up all SmartBuff's options the same as they were previously. Exited again so that the options would be saved properly to the saved variables.
Logged back on, joined a party. Things seemed to be working OK; buffs were being alerted at the proper times (other than InnerFire, as before dual-spec). But then respec while in the party. The previously cast PowerWord: Fortitude, Divine Spirit & Prayer of Shadow Protection were taken off party members, as what happens when you respec. But when I recast them, SmartBuff never detected the buffs _at all_ when they fell off someone. It also failed to detect that the buffs were missing right after the respec. This is with the "UI sync" & "Grp buff check" options checkmarked, as they had been since before I dual-speced.
Tried it over the next week solo, in a party and in a raid. At no time after respecing did it ever detect buffs properly (or at all).
Hope we can see the dual-spec functionality be usable soon.
