Exalter Apr 24, 2012 at 11:39 UTC - 0 likesI can see what I can do about the resto requests.. I really have no intention on adding anything to these addons until mists of pandera is released.. But if I have time I'll add your requests.. If not your request will be added for mists

Noshtzy Apr 24, 2012 at 04:03 UTC - 0 likesI was hoping that this would blink at me certain heals/spells that are off cooldown until cast. That's typically why I use Spellflash for other classes I play. I'd love Swiftmend and Wild Growth to blink when they are available since I usually have them up whenever possible. I'd also want Lifebloom to blink when it's about to expire or is not up on anyone. It'd also be helpful to have the direct heals like Nourish and Regrowth (Swiftmend too, but if its available it should be blinking anyway) blink when Harmony is not up, so I can keep it up.

Squishy Dec 24, 2011 at 05:28 UTC - 0 likesThanks. I can work with that. Not often that I have to use focus for CC as a druid (unlike mage).

That might be a little tricky.. It would definatly have to be an option to turn on and off.. but maybe not...
Right now spellflash is setup for Focus > Target Focus being the priority of a flash.. But I dont see what the harm would be if it was setup for... Default Function - FocusTarget > Target Crowd Control Function - Focus > Target I think Focus is mainly because of the crowd control option on the addons. FocusTarget would be more ideal for most people. This also isnt part of the druids addon function.. Bigred would have to do this on the core addon.
But if he does decide to do this, then your macro would be a little different.. It would be..
In the meantime Use a macro to target your focustarget.. Example /target focustarget
Your focusTarget would be you Main tank, or Main Assist of course..

Squishy Dec 23, 2011 at 16:24 UTC - 0 likesQuestion - I use a cast macro:
/cast [@targettarget, harm, nodead][@mouseover, harm, nodead][@target, harm, nodead][] Moonfire
so I can target the MT and not worry about aggro on a mob the tank isn't targeting. Is there a change I can make to Spellflash or specifically the druid module that enables Spellflash to spell-highlight based on my target's target when my target is friendly?

Pusikas Dec 10, 2011 at 09:05 UTC - 0 likesThrash is not an aoe-ability. I mean - it is, but it also belongs into the single-target rotation. With high priority. Might be a good idea to give it a different color, tho, so you don't hit it when some CC is nearby. But it's no good to mark it as a pure aoe-ability. That would give new bear-tanks the wrong idea. I see lots of tanks that skip this great ability in their single-target rotation and spam Lacerate instead, which is really stupid. Lacaerate scales horribly with gear, raid bonuses and Vengeance. IIRC, Thrash gets about 5x more benefit from AP than Lacerate. So unless you are sitting at 100 Rage, it usually makes more sense to not press any buttons at all and wait for 2-3 secs than to spam Lacerate. (unless you NEED a button to spam, like when you have to catch strays or the like, and even then, Swipe is usually better since it saves you from having to target mobs)
Something to consider is the 2T13 bonus. Not sure yet how to handle it. It may give keeping up Pulverize (and thus generating 3 Stacks of Lacerate before Pulverize runs out) a higher priority. And it may make Berserk into a defensive CD. Would still have to keep up Pulverize during Berserk, something which you usually don't do otherwise.
Similar with 4T13 - not sure if you should flash Frenzied Regeneration when tank-HP drops. It turns FR into a raid-wide CD. If you flash it with 4T13 ar all, it should be when the whole raid drops, not just when the bear gets hit on the head.

I just tested your rotation.. I LIKE IT! But, I will have to change some of the color's your using due to what people are used to.. Yellow on Maul I will be changing and also Trash will be flashing purple..
Besides that you did a nice job! I will add a 3 second early refresh timer on Demo Roar, and also I am going to be adding Berserk Proc, and Berserk to the rotation.. Hope you will like the new changes! I will give you credit for your work on all future Updates.. What alias would you like me to use?

Pusikas Dec 09, 2011 at 17:13 UTC - 0 likesCurrent version still does not have a good priorization for bear. It uses Pulverize over Mangle and Lacerate over Thrash. Also, I have not found a way to flash buffs or debuffs before they drop. Especially with many tanks not being hit-capped it makes sense to flash Demoralizing Roard 2-3 secs before it drops. I currently use something like the following:
Trying to use a good priority system. Highlighting Maul when OOC procs and otherwise when enough Rage, Mangle and DoTs are running. Priority is Demoralizing Roar > Mangle > Thrash > FFF > Pulverize > Lacerate. Lacerate is really crappy now and only makes sense to use to keep Pulverize buff up and to proc Mangle. Mangle is the strongest aggro ability by far and applies two valuable debuffs.
I also changed the detection for FFF a bit, can post that as well. Basically, if a hunter has a raptor out to save me from having to apply 3 Stacks of FF, then I do not want to overwrite the raptor's shorter running version of it. Same goes for Sunder Armor. If some arms warrior applies 3 Stacks and keeps them running indefinately with MS, then he's free to do so. :)

Exalter Oct 03, 2011 at 14:44 UTC - 0 likesI have recently played around with brents warrior module for tanking.. I kinda like his purple flashing for aoe/alternative rotation.. I will most likely be adding trash as a purple flash alternative.. But some people like how it works now and are used to it. So I'll add this in the options menu.. Default options will have this feature disabled, do you will have to activate it.. Please check the updates log for the feature to be added. Thanks for your advised on improving the Druid moduel :)
