SpellNotify will notify you, your party or raid, and/or those around you when certain spells are cast.
There are many addons designed for specific classes and roles which announce the use of spells or
abilities. For example, the addon might announce when a taunt is resisted or a tank cooldown is used.
However, these are typically designed for only that specific ability and I have often wished for
more flexibility. This addon will allow you to configure notifications for any spell cast by
you or those around you, which may be sent by whisper, say, yell, raid warning, or only saved
in a log for later review.
As an example, I use this addon when I cast Hand of Freedom to whisper my fellow paladin, so she knows
it's her turn next. I use it to announce in the healer channel when I've used my Divine Plea.
