Target For Me 2

4 - Localization Support (e.g. german)

Hi,

could you think about adding support for the german wow client and other localized clients?

I have made a modification to add support for the localized tfm boss/zone data
by replacing the TFM2Data.lua with a localizable file.

I also included a german data localization file with some mop raid bosses added. (not all test yet though..)

Maybe you could use this change or implement your own solution?

with best regards
AgentSchmitt

@AgentSchmitt: Go Only The bosses will be translated, In order to get this done I'm going to have to translate the zones as it appears from reading the comments in BableZone that I should be using ZoneIDs now (numbers) and I dont want to spend the time right now on that

So I'll need the zones - some of which you've done - and I think there are a couple of places I used adds to recognise the boss who appears after engagement Optionally I'll also need adds - but that is more for the macros

I'm going to use the CurseForge Localisation support (see wow.curseforge.com/addons/target-for-me-2/localization/ ) - I've started adding in the tables - If you don't need it translated to get the code to work then there is no need to enter a translation I'm a little unsure which parts of the comparisons will need translations

When you are using LibBabbleBoss do you need still translations for the boss names and or zones? Or is all this covered with the lib then?

Using LibBabbleBoss for the boss name translation, will need to work out which of the text is covered by boss'es and then make a list of the remaining

The boss names are translated! Have a look in Localization\deDEdata.lua file. I have added the bosses of mogushan, heart of fear and terrace their for the german client.

I've looked at your file and I see you did not have to translate the /tar commands or the boss names. That surprised me, so yes I can do this. Timings a bit of a problem as I'm just back from one business trip and off on another tomorrow - then I've got a week where I can try and do this
