Tidy Plates: Threat Plates v6.0

Comments & Tickets

  • Tidy Plates: Threat Plates (TPTP for short) is a theme for use with Tidy Plates with patch 5.0.4 or later WoW client. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.

  • SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
  • Ace3 profiling.
  • Low memory footprint.
  • Threat system management.
  • Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
  • Customizable widgets.
  • Customizable totem nameplates.
  • Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.

  • /tptp - Displays options.
  • /tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
  • /tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
  • /tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
  • /tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
  • /tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

Additional Information:

  • A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. If you have any questions about options and what they do, feel free to leave a comment or PM me here for more information.

Is there any possibility to set independently the nameplate text alpha or simply deactivate nameplate text on NPC unit. ? My goal is to hide the nameplate text on NPC unit. By normal interface or in LUA files. Thanks in advance, sorry for my English.

Saw new version of Tidy Plates and grabbed it... bad idea! Seems that it has broken Threat Plates, as in plates are totally blank... so I went with one of the Tidy themes and was... not happy. Hunting up the previous version of Tidy Plates that worked just fine with Threat Plates.

Well, that seems to not work... going to try replacing Threat Plates because now it won't open it's config. Had installed 6.15.2 version of Tidy btw, yesterday it was working fine.

NB2: Well, FINALLY I got my trusty Threat Plates back! It's funny how I seem to fall to pieces when things look... wrong! So it seems fresh copies of 6.15.2 Tidy & Threat 7.011 is what now does the trick for me.

It should be so great if it was possible to differentiate player from NPC for all settings, like it already possible to do actually for neutral, tapped, normal, elite and boss units. Sorry for my English and thanks a lot for your great work.

Hi, just picked up ThreatPlates yesterday after a long span with Tidy, I must admit I underestimated how handy an addition it really is.

I have noticed a couple of issues though, with the Auras Widget: One; As a DK, the Death & Decay Icon appears over some Hostile NamePlates even when they're not attacking me, while I'm in Combat, without Death & Decay down, or on cooldown.

Two; the Auras Widget Style options seem to be broken. If you select Square, they still appear as Wide, if you select Wide, it appears as Wide as well.

I've installed the alpha, and now Threatplates doesn't show up as an option in the skins for Tidyplates (it does with the release version, but doesn't work). Anything else I need to do?

Is there anyway we can add unique spell ID to the aura widget instead of using the name, spells like tigereye brew can be confusing since there is 2 Buffs for 1 name, having the unique spell ID would be much preferred.

    @kunniasta: Go

Right click on threat plates in your curse client and set the release type to alpha or go here and download manually:

I'm having the same problem as ragetool was but my primary spec them is set to threat plates. If I change the second one it just lags the whole game up.
