I currently do not offer support for multitank checks. I hope to include this in a later version however I'm currently not in a need for such features so I haven't put them into the works.

deathtol Apr 23, 2012 at 21:27 UTC - 0 likesGreetings! I used to have a tank spec for nights when a tank was missing, I used neon theme plates for DPS and then for tanking.
Now that I've moved into the main tank role I switched to the Tanking plates as they are superior for tanking with one small exception: When the other tank has aggro his mobs plates show as the warning color to me.
In the other plate options (neon, graphite, etc) there was an option to set the other tanks color to something other than the warning color (I set up green = me, blue = tank, red = taunt you noob, healer is tanking!)
Is there any way to configure this in the threat plates setup or should I go back to the neon/tank set up.

Try disabling all your addons other than Tidy Plates and Threat Plates and see if the issue persists.

Greenbee Apr 11, 2012 at 05:03 UTC - 0 likesty for a great addon..
not sure what happen.. i just did a clean install of my iMac OS then went on to install wow and some addons.. got tidy and threat installed.. works fine on prot pally and disc priest then went to set up a mage.. and the plates are all whacked out.. changes the plates from graphite damage to wows and even the correct threat plates.. sometimes i even have overlapping plates.. i have done resets to try and fix what ever glitch may have occured.. even uninstalled tidy and threat and deleted the tidy plate files in the 3 toons i set up so far from wtf/account/account name/server/toon/saved variables.. , reinstalled... still no luck
played some more and im at a lose.. this time i have it set to run neon/damage to test... on a pull id get neon/damage, next pull threat plates, then both plates at same time.. on a multi pull id get a mix of plates.. since its set to neon/damage this time.. id think no threat plate would show i was wrong.. doesnt seem to matter what setting i use.. it just keeps changing per pull.
never had issues till this clean install.. any ideas? addon conflicts? any ideas to try out are welcome...

It's a side effect of having stance monitoring on. Unfortunately it's the only method that will properly update the nameplates to reflect the changes of 'tank' or 'dps' settings.

Kazrot Nov 12, 2011 at 08:30 UTC - 0 likesAs a Feral Druid, using the Threat Plates with the Shapeshift tab checked as enabled, there is a lot of unnecessary flickering.
You can go up to a dummy target, and start doing a Feral Cat rotation, and every time you use Faerie Fire(Feral) the plates will flicker off/on quickly. There's also a flicker that occurs every time you change forms.

tim12379 Apr 27, 2011 at 14:34 UTC - 0 likesIs there a way to change the size of the nameplates? I don't mean the scale, I mean making the height a bit bigger and the width a bit narrower. I had some other nameplate mod which let me do this in the LUA, but I can't figure out where to change this for TPTP.
thx.
