Tidy Plates: Threat Plates v6.0

Comments & Tickets

  • Tidy Plates: Threat Plates (TPTP for short) is a theme for use with Tidy Plates with patch 5.0.4 or later WoW client. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.

  • SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
  • Ace3 profiling.
  • Low memory footprint.
  • Threat system management.
  • Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
  • Customizable widgets.
  • Customizable totem nameplates.
  • Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.

  • /tptp - Displays options.
  • /tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
  • /tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
  • /tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
  • /tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
  • /tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

Additional Information:

  • A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. If you have any questions about options and what they do, feel free to leave a comment or PM me here for more information.

is it possible to change the color depending on the health percentage? for example as a warrior 100% -> 20% green 20%->0% red?

I recently tried to start using TPTP again and it doesn't seem to be working. /tptp doesn't work but the other commands do. Also Tidy Plates keeps spamming me that I'm not using a "hub-compatible theme".

Scratch all that. Apparently I wasn't updated.

    Hey Mr. Suicidalkatt.

Alpha's working great, thanks for all the work updating everything.

Any timetable on 7.0 wrapping up the alpha stage and going live? The world needs more competent tanks, and more competent tanks means more tanks using Threat Plates. I imagine there are quite a few players who won't grab the alpha and are just waiting for an update on their Curse Client and whatnot, so the sooner the better.

People that are having incompatibility issues, what are these issues!? I haven't seen anything wrong... Please post a ticket and the versions you're using.

    Help me :U

Funny, almost nothing in the game seems to throw me as much as NOT having the TPTP working like how I set em up! Had just come here to say TPTP 7.012 & TP 6.16beta9 work great together... and I see we have a new alpha... which should also work fne (I'll only repost if it does not).

Ah ok, I just read about all the changes and thought they might not be compatible. :)

    I've been using the beta.

Any users that have been using the release, I've not had any issues or incompatibilities. I have a feeling that the curse client may not be making the proper file changes and a manual download + install is recommended.

I'm assuming the latest alpha (7.012) is for the 6.15.x branch of Tidy Plates?

My guess would be that the author either have insufficient time to commit to the large changes in 6.16, are secretly working behind the scenes on a new version or are waiting for 6.16 to come out of beta to avoid possible double work due to sudden changes in the code.

The current TPTP (7.011) was incompatible with TP 6.15.3 so I reverted it to 6.15.2. I see TP is now on 6.16b8, so I'm curious if anyone has that version being compatible w/TPTP 7.0.11.

I really like the option to use healthbar border colors to indicate threat, but really wish the "Ignore non-combat threat" option applied to them as well. Would it be possible to include this option? Also, would it make more sense to just move those options from the nameplate settings tab into the threat settings section?

Thank you for maintaining this awesome addon!
