Tidy Plates: Threat Plates v6.0
About:
- Tidy Plates: Threat Plates (TPTP for short) is a theme for use with Tidy Plates with patch 5.0.4 or later WoW client. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.
Features:
- SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
- Ace3 profiling.
- Low memory footprint.
- Threat system management.
- Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
- Customizable widgets.
- Customizable totem nameplates.
- Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.
Commands:
- /tptp - Displays options.
- /tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
- /tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
- /tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
- /tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
- /tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.
Additional Information:
- A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. If you have any questions about options and what they do, feel free to leave a comment or PM me here for more information.

Once again, thanks to Tharai... BUT it does not seem to contain the fix for mobs others are attacking...

Did the first fix, the second seemed in my file to be like he said, and out in the world, working much better (before I did that first edit, I would see the gray plates, but always only briefly),
The issue is we now have 2 "fixes" from 2 other add-on authors and no word from the original developer. If I was not following this thread...

Yes, it just takes two small edits. The author of the original "Tidy Plates" (danltiger - who is not the author of "Tidy Plates: Threat Plates") figured out the problem on the "Tidy Plates" forums and posted how to fix it here.
I followed his instructions and grey ("tagged"/"tapped") mobs now show correctly. Hopefully suicidalkatt (the author of "Tidy Plates: Threat Plates") sees this and implements the fix in the next TP:TP patch. Until then, after you make the edits "Tidy Plates: Threat Plates" will be marked as "Modified" in the "Status" column of your Curse Client.

gothnate Jun 01, 2013 at 03:55 UTC - 0 likesI have an issue I've not been able to sort out. Any time I load or reload the game, the health and cast bars reset to default while still showing that they're set to what I chose. The rest of my settings stay where I put them, just not the bar skins. Am I missing something?

I hear you, but just going to another tab (and back) on the Social List gets my friends list back up... which to me is acceptable to get the numerical count and HP percentage on mob plates that Threat gives me. I consider Threat to be pretty essential... and let's not forget we have Tharai to thank for even keeping us in the game.

th3silly0n3 May 27, 2013 at 11:02 UTC - 0 likesMultiple issues have forced me to stop using threat plates until they are fixed. Among those issues:
. Problems with friends list while tptp is running . Weird issues with the plates doing very odd things when I killing spree (becoming small and growing large very quickly every time the KS blinks to a new target) . Something else I can no longer remember...but it was there, also
Can we expect an updated version to bring this in line with the newest Tidy Plates, and newest blizzard releases?
