Are you referring to "Tidy Plates: Threat Plates"?
Tidy Plates itself comes with a few themes, which have threat/aggro management tools. That's all you really need.
When I was first developing Tidy Plates, another author expressed interest in designing his own theme. The result was, "Tidy Plates: Clean Plates" which later evolved to, "Threat Plates", which first introduced scaling based on aggro condition. The bundled themes provide much the same functionality. The core differences are the memory footprint, and the configuration panels.
If one of the bundled themes is working for you, there's no reason to add Threat Plates.

Kaianna Regular ShmoeWhile this might seem like a silly question to some of you, I find myself in a little bit of a problem. I'm new to tanking with this addon but have been told to give it a try by numerous people. With an open mind I downloaded Tidy Plates, and it works pretty well. Then I noticed while browsing that there is a Tidy Plates: Threat, which confused me. Isn't Tidy Plates itself a threat management addon? I know that it changes the nature of the plates, but I noticed that the main package does seem to come with an aggro management ability. As far as basic aggro calculations are concerned, do I actually need to install TP: Threat as well as the original? Or rather, should I?
