30 - LDB Plugin
What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
I am hoping a LDB plugin will be in the works. Very simple - depending on the LDB display addon the font face and size can be customized or set as a default. Perhaps a switch to show/hide the title of "Tongues" while the language remains shown.
Either: "Tongues: Orcish"
Or: "Orcish"
Please provide any additional information below.
Welcome back - I'm glad you're working on a new version and am excited for the feature tickets you've marked as "started." :D

Avanina Sat, 02 May 2009 14:52:39Here's a bit of info on what LibDataBroker is - hope this may help. I could've been a bit clearer before, so here goes:
If a LDB plugin was made for Tongues, a user could choose to hide the current Tongues button and instead be able to have the same functionality by clicking on a bit of text (with/without an icon). The idea is akin to when a FuBar module has both the display on FuBar, and a minimap button that could be disabled if the user chooses to. If you want, I could provide a mock-up screenshot or more clarification if needed.
Some LDB display addons (like DockingStation) allow for lots of customization: it can change the font face and size, whether or not applicable labels or icons are shown etc. Other LDB display addons (such as NinjaPanel) have much fewer customization options.
As for a usage example of the addon:
If the text appears as "Orcish" - I can left-click this text to switch languages or right-click it to access the options menu. Perhaps the options menu should include a checkbox to hide/show the original menu (red rectangle) since not everyone uses LDB.
Thanks for taking a look in to this! :D

skrulladams Fri, 01 May 2009 19:36:51I'm not sure of what LDB means but I think I understand what you are asking for in context. I'll start collecting all this info for the new version.
