Alpha Transparency, Scaling, and Fade(InstantHide) options have been removed. There are many other addons that affect the looks of the tooltip, which really should have been beyond the scope of TTW. So now that they're gone, what do we use for alpha and scale? Try CowTip, available http://www.wowace.com/wiki/CowTip Let TooltipWrangler position your tooltip, so in CowTip turn the position module off.

Update on flashing tooltips. While they are not completely gone, they have been greatly reduced. In addition, the disappearing tooltips have been eliminated! (I hope, cross your fingers)
