UberQuest

UberQuest is a drop-in replacement for Blizzard's Quest Log providing a dual pane view, full panes for the quest listing and a second full pane for the quest description itself. Plus, a powerful quest tracker/minion.

UberQuest is a community effort. The original version was written by Saien (Modded by BanMan and Ithilyn, Additions by CaptCrunch), fixes by me to have it work with WotLK, fixed again by BG for Patch v3.1 and now my fixes for 3.2 to keep this mod going.

I'm playing WoW from time to time and can now work on keeping UberQuest free of bugs on my free time but I'm not experienced enough to implement huge changes. I know enough about the code to know how to fix the errors that might crop up.

I have seen the WoW v3.2 version Dual pane quest log interface and I still don't think it beats out UberQuest. ;)

If you are an experienced author and wish to take over full author of this mod, let me know! Only serious requests, please.

Known Issue(s)

Weird issue with quest objectives showing up twice on the mob tooltip, when quest tool tip objectives are enabled on UberQuest.

Help Wanted

If you can help with French, German or Latin American Spanish localization translations,

• Go to "UberQuest Localizations",
• Click "Export" tab,
• Choose Format: "Simple Lua table",
• Pick the "Language" localization you want to translate,
• Choose Handle unlocalized: "Show English",
• Click the "Export" button.
• Send the translated text to "quicksylvers@quicksylvers.com"
