WGProRaid

Why WGProRaid?

So, what headache does this thing treat?

On my realm, there are a lot of propably young folks that flame a lot during wintergrasp battles and afterwards if the battle is lost. Additionally, the same group of people doesn't seem to be interested in following a strategy announced for the raid but do their own stuff. Why is that? Because noone cares for 2 1/2 hours and next time when the battle rages, these guys are in the raid again, get the buffs and go fishing or do whatever they want whilst annoying others.

Here comes my personal philosophy about wintergrasp-raids and the people in it. First of all, there is no right or such to be in a specific raid and there can be a lot of raids in one battleground. So, when it comes to the raidleader, he or she decides who's in and who's not. Simple like that. The process of building a raid consists of inviting people and while there are many solutions out there that do automatic invites, WGProRaid in the first version goes a step or two further by granting raidofficer privileges to people based on a list the raidleader maintains or does not invite or even removes players that are unwanted persons for the battle.

My hope for the project is that the idea spreads and people act as if they were proud members of the horde or the alliance and not idiots from the wannabe-gang around the corner because the reputation one earns on the battleground finally leads to consequences, positive or negative.

I'd be happy to read a lot of feedback!
