WoWLiCe v0.1.79
Change log
- Clicking inventory spotlight icon now cycles through different icons.
- Moved Inventory Spotlight over to LiCe Bags. It can run standalone.
- Assimilated AlexBags into LiCe and changed all references to LiCe Bags
- Throttled Status Bar updates, now uses /set STATUS_UPDATE_SPEED (delay in seconds)
- Removed /esc main menu failsafe since there is a main menu button now on the default UI.
- Added LiCe Combo Damage module. Shows total damage of multiple hits that occur close enough to each other to show simultanious damage numbers.
- Added preliminary capability to add what I used to separate in lua files into separate addons. LiCe Combo Damage is the first of these. Support is very minimal. Saved variables and setting integration has not been done yet.
- Added LiCe UI Screensaver. Fades out UI 5% every 20 minutes for 30 seconds.
- Took out reloading of UI during theme change. It was not needed
Known caveats
- The B /tog no longer works. This is due to Inventory Spotlight being moved into the addon formerly known as AlexBags. This will be fixed when I properly set up the /tog /mtog etc. system and saved variables to work with modular addons in LiCe. For now, LiCe Bags/Spotlight do the default behavior (not opening all bags on alt-space) Workaround: If you want all bags open before you search, open all the bags before you activate spotlight :-)
- If you have any windows open during the time that the screensaver fades the UI out slightly (ie. the quest window), and then close the windows before they fade back in, they will remain faded out slightly. Workaround: ignore it, or type /rl to reload the interface and it will be back to normal. Don't freak out, your monitor doesn't have stuff burned in (I thought this myself at first when I saw it LOL)
- For some reason the GPS headings reflect you being a bit off target when the tracker shows you as being 'dead on'. Even with the difference in numbers though it seems the tracker itself is correct.
- if you set a /set variable to a number, then it won't let you change it to anything except for a number. This only affects variables that can be set to anything (ie. STATUS_*) Workaround: don't do it! :) ++
- Sometimes /who stops working. Workaround: Open and close the friends pane. /who will work again.
++ if you managed to do this, you can fix it by typing the following:
/script LiCe_Settings.Set.VARIABLE = "original value"
where VARIABLE is the /set variable, ie:
/script LiCe_Settings.Set.STATUS_SYSTRAY = "%Y"
The quotes are neccessary, and it is case sensitive, in other words, uppercase counts (note: /set itself is not case sensitive). Of course /resetlice will fix it too, but that's a little drastic.
