DeathCount

Alternate download link
Just in case Curse has load issues (as occasionally happens on patch day) I have set up an alternate download page carrying the latest version of my addons. You can find it under http://www.ursbeeli.ch/m_addons.shtml

History
On 2007-08-08 Peter T. asked in alt.games.warcraft:
Just started a new char today because my second(!) main char need something that a tailor can do. My priest is level 6 and I have died three times so far (Benedict is not that easy). But is there an addon which can give me such statistics like how many times I have died with a char etc.?

I couldn't resist and here is the addon...

Urbin, Dun-Morogh (EU)

Features
This addon counts how many times you die on a certain level. If you want to save space (but loose details), you can consolidate the count up to your current level.

/dc help	fairly obvious
/dc about	also obvious
/dc show a short summary (same as /dc short)
/dc short	show total deaths and deaths at current level
/dc long	show deaths for each level (unless you didn't die on a level,
        	then it is skipped)
/dc extended	show deaths for each level, even those in which you didn't die
/dc ext same as /dc extended
/dc consolidate	add up all levels up to the one below the current one and drop
the details for those lower levels to save space
/dc cons	same as /dc consolidate
