World of Warcraft Game

RedBanker

RedBanker will give you a list of the top 4 people in your guild who can use any item in your inventory, guild bank or auction house that you hover your mouse over.

You can run a guild bank quickly and easily by redistributing items as soon as they come in, getting items in the hands of your members or fellow players as soon as possible and saving the hassle of tracking donations, posting to a website and waiting for people to ask for items.

It makes its recommendations based on level, class, tradeskill levels(*), how recently people have logged and whether they're an alt or a main character(**).

Works best with large guilds, but I'm guessing may be useable for guilds with as few as 50-75 characters. Your mileage may vary.

Note(*): Tradeskill notes should be stored in players' Public Note in order to be known by RedBanker. Players can install an addon called GuildNote to update their Public Note automatically with this info

Note(**): The words "alt" or "main" should anywhere in the Officer Note in order for it to be known by RedBanker. If not, no additional weighting will be given to alts/mains.

--------------------
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
--------------------

Hover your mouse over any item to see a list of guild members who may be able to use it. The top four candidates are shown.

For example: Hovering over an [Emblazoned Cloak] will show something similar to the following:

| Emblazoned Cloak
| Binds when equipped
| Back
| 20 Armor
| +5 Stamina
| +2 Spirit
| Requires Level 22
|
| Suitable guild members:
| Dawa (22 Priest) Aenelle's alt
| Lovemonkey (22 Warlock) Loraveris' alt
| Messabelino (23 Priest) Amobia's alt
| Mightyjett (23 Mage) Jettarus's alt

It also works for tradeskill items as well, but only if guild members have put their tradeskills and levels into their Public Note on the in-game guild panel. RedBanker will try to parse out what guild members have input, however every combination of spelling and punctuation can't be predicted, so it works best if guildies use the following format for their public note: "Enchanting 176 / Mining 40" (for example). Any other formats mean they'll be that much more difficult to match.

If you use the words "Main" or "Alt" anywhere in the officer notes for each player, it will weigh main characters *slightly* higher.

------------
KNOWN ISSUES
------------
- Tradeskill patterns and items can only be distributable with this addon if your guild members store their tradeskill information in their Public Note. This is a limitation of World of Warcraft, there's no way to detect this information otherwise. You may want to look for an addon called "GuildNote", which puts your tradeskill information into your public note automatically.

- Sometimes a recommendation can't be made, usually because there are no ideal guildies for that item. You can perhaps sell it or keep it for later.

- Sometimes weird recommendations are made either because there are not enough suitable candidates, not enough information is available (in the case of tradeskill stuff) or it's not in the ReagentData database.

------------
FUTURE PLANS
------------
- Update tradeskill database, since ReagentData is a bit old now
- Localization
- any other requests?
