GoGoMount

GoGo Binding options

Description:

One-key mounting solution, useful whether you have just one mount or several. Supports all mounts currently in game, sensibly chooses/randomizes between what you have. Bind a key and hit it to mount/unmount or shapeshift/deshift, or use '/click GoGoButton' in a macro.

Spell support:

- Supports Shaman and Druid travel forms - in combat as well

Autodismount support:

Dismounts you automagically when clicking on herbs/ores or using offensive spells/abilities. Use '/gogo auto' to toggle this on/off.

Preferred mounts support:

You can assign one or more preferred mounts for each zone. Use '/gogo MountLink' to add pref. Use '/gogo clear' to clear prefs for current zone. Warning: GoGoMount will always use your zone specific preferred mounts even if you have faster ones.

You can also assign one or more preferred mounts globally. Enable the option "Preferred mount changes apply to global setting" and the zone specific preferences and commands are applied to the global preferences.

Excluded mount support:

You can exclude mounts that you never ever want to see. Use '/gogo exclude MountLink' to add a mount to the exclusions list. Use the same command to remove a mount from the exclusions list.

    @bundok: Go

    In the past I've turn down this request. In some cases it would be helpful and in some cases it would not.

    For example, you're in combat as a druid and decide to turn and run. You're going to get cat form from GoGoMount. Once you're out of combat you want a flying mount to fly to another area. Instead of getting flight form you're back to bear form or whatever form you were using in combat. Anyone who is farming for ore, herbs, archy, etc. would not find this useful.

    What happens if you change forms manually? You're in bear form, use GoGoMount to switch to cat form in combat, then manually switch to travel form to carry a passenger. Now you go and click GoGoMount to get flight form. Does GoGoMount put you back to Bear form because that's the form you were in the first time you clicked the GoGoMount button or should it go to cat form because it saw you were in that form before travel form? Either way you didn't get your flight form.

    There's many other scenarios where having GoGoMount put you back to a previous form will give unexpected results.

    For this reason I've declined requests for GoGoMount to shift players to previous forms. Figuring out the logic to handle each situation with previous forms would be a lot of work and I doubt everyone would agree to the correct solution for each scenario. Having GoGoMount mount and dismount gives predictable results every time.

    Feature Request: Aspect/Shapeshift Switching returns to preferred/previous rather than default.

    e.g. On my hunter if I use gogomount while moving it automatically triggers Aspect of the Cheetah because it knows that when I'm moving I can't mount... smart that. :) However if I click again while moving it cancels the aspect rather than switching me back to Aspect of the Iron Hawk.

    Ditto with Druid. I'd love for it to shift me back to Moonkin (usually my previous form) my spec and "default" form. Instead it just cancels the current form and returns me to Night Elf form.

    Is it possible to pull this off?

    @CarmCritter: Go

    The profession-specific mounts make sense, I didn't think I'd be able to access the flying carpets on say, my enchanter. The issue I'm having is that I'm unable to access the class mounts on their equivalent classes, e.g. the Acherus mounts can't even be accessed randomly via the addon on my DK who is the toon that purchased them.

    I also think it's a possibility that the Obsidian Nightwing fix that was posted last week in one of the previous builds (the one that fixed it ONLY calling that mount, much like your Sandstone drake issue) led to it not being able to be called at random on any toon aside from the one on which it was learned. If that makes sense?

    EDIT: poking around the .lua files, which I'm probably not supposed to do, fixed my Obsidian Nightwing issue by changing [10003]=250 to 380, which also seems to have worked for the Winged Steed DK flying mount. Now, I wonder if doing that created issues with not being able to call the mounts when a toon DOESN'T have Fast riding or Flying...... :x

    @waynec02

    I know that I can not access my Flying Carpet, except on my Tailor. Come to think of it, my Flight Form has not established yet, so maybe...

    @CarmCritter: Go

    Disregard previous, I read through the tickets and it seems to be a known issue with Expert riding. Waiting on a fix! :D

    Also! Are class mounts excluded from the list? Or was this just hilariously bad luck? They show up and work fine if I choose one as a Preferred mount but after a solid 5 minutes of hitting that damn keybind, it's never shown up on its own. This is specifically on my DK with the Acherus mounts, both the gryphon and horse. He and all other toons also seem to be unable to call the Obsidian Nightwing mount, though Imperial Quilen shows up as it should. Is it something simple like the Nightwing not being coded for account-wide?

    With the new patch came some interesting advantages for a mount collector like myself. The main one is that all mounts are available for all characters(whom meet the prereqs).

    On my main, Druid level 85, the mount/dismount key functions just fine. On my alts, Priest level 85 and Huntard level 85, the only mount that will function with the mount/dismount key is Sandstone Drake. It refuses to randomly choose a mount, if I exclude Sandstone Drake the key binding randomly chooses mounts like normal.

    Is this something that is known, is there a fix or something I am doing wrong on my alts to make this happen?

    @soulyouth: Go

    I've seen this error or similar error as well. It's not GoGoMount making the call to the protected function. Seems to be an error on Blizzard's side with the Glyph frame. Reloading your console (/reload) will get around the problem immediately but I'll see if there is anything I can do to fix Blizzard's problem.

Do you use the command line to modify GoGoMount options, add or remove favorite mounts, etc.?
