GoGoMount

736 - GGM auto-shifting worgen druid from Moonkin

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Being a Worgen Moonkin
2. pressing GGM

What is your current class, level and race?
85 Worgen Druid

What language is your game client?  (enUS / frFR / etc)
enUS

What version of the GoGoMount are you using?
5.4.1

Please provide any additional information below.

I found a year-old ticket saying Moonkin mounting was fixed for non-worgen. Was this fix just passed over for Worgen? Whenever I try to use GGM in moonkin I shift-out, and can't find any option that would ignore it. And I don't see the problem with the older ticket and Worgens, I can Run Wild from Moonkin just fine.

I'd love an option to ignore Running Wild/shifting to be added to the druid only options.

I've verified that the ui option is saving now.

I've posted r415 which should have this problem fixed for you.

There are a few other problems I've noticed with the options since this patch came out that are partially fixed but at least you can test the problem you were having.

Thanks for the information about the druid option not saving.

I've found the problem and have fixed it for the next test / release version of GoGoMount.

The original problem is non-existant. There is a different problem that caused me to believe it was a problem.

Should I make a new ticket for it?

    • The new problem is that the interface option isn't saving(for me)
    • the option either stays "checked" or doesn't, does not change its enabled/disabled state.
    • I am required to use the etext script "/gogo druidclickform" to enable the option.

imgur is being silly right now, so I can't upload my step-by-step walkthrough again.

I'm still not sure what the problem is.  (Probably need my Monday morning coffee...)

You're in Moonkin form.  You press the GoGoMount button.

    What happens?
    What is supposed to happen?

Options that aren't saving?  The OK & Cancel buttons on the options form don't do anything for GoGoMount.  Options are saved as soon as you click the check box to set an option.  If something is not saving correctly, which option is it?

Ok, fast update; For the imgur album, I misinterpreted what you said, and thought enabling sing click druid was supposed to unshift me.

As it turns out, changes to the addon options interface aren't saving. As I expected them to. I Enabled druid single click via /gogo druidclickform and it saved, allowing me to mount in moonkin.

I guess we had a different problem.

I tried to ignore all druid forms in global exclusions.

I enabled single click for druids in an attempt to troubleshoot.

I'll try again, and reload after enabling options

Upon ui reload, I found that GGM isn't saving any changes after clicking Okay for a minute or two.

In the end, no option keeps me in moonkin form when clicking the gogomount macro. (Which is only /click GoGoButton)

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking for here.

If you're in a form other than human GoGoMount will remove that form.  If you have the single click option for Druids enabled, it'll remove that shape form and put you on a mount.

If you want to ignore Running Wild altogether, go to the Global Exclusions list and select Running Wild as an exclusion.
