GoGoMount

816 - Autodismount to Mine

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Hover over mining node but within range to mine, right-click node. Game prompts error message that I must dismount first.
2. Tried to toggle /gogo auto to disable and back on, no luck.
3.

What is your current class, level and race? 90 Paladin, Belf.

What language is your game client?  (enUS / frFR / etc) enUS

What version of the GoGoMount are you using? 6.0.15

If the problem is with Engineering or Tailoring mounts, which and what level is your skill?

Please provide any additional information below.

It is my understanding this should work with flying mounts to, yes?

- Attach a log of the problem from GoGoMount if possible to make it easier to solve the issue.  Steps to create the log is found here:  http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/gogomount/pages/debugging

    It's not about people not having common sense or anything like that.  The auto dismount is based on an error message displayed by the game client when trying to do certain things.

    I've seen in the past errors on the screen without doing anything while flying.  Could be from the beta server, events Blizzard added which has a player trying to cast something automatically or some other addon like something that automatically summons a companion pet.

    If someone has an addon that incorrectly attempts to cast a spell or a companion pet while flying, I don't want GoGoMount to automatically dismount the player and potentially killing them because of it.

    I may add it as an option to enable or disable in GoGoMount.  I haven't fully decided yet.

    Sucks having to hold peoples hands. But thanks for the fix for people with common sense, looking forward to trying it out!

    It's to prevent fall damage & deaths. I don't want people saying "GoGoMount killed me!"

    If you want GoGoMount to dismount you while you're flying:

    Edit GoGoMount.lua
    Line 109 currently reads: if GOGO_ERRORS[arg1] and not IsFlying() then
    Change it to: if GOGO_ERRORS[arg1] then

    Save and login.

    You'll need to keep making this change with every update.

    Is dismounting if you are in flight not possible because of coding limitatons or just a choice so dummies don't kill themselves from fall damage?

    The option in the game client was added after GoGoMount already had the option.

    GoGoMount will dismount for other things as well such as opening the flight path map which I don't believe the in game option does.  (I'll have to check this as well.)

    Hm. Doesn't WoW automatically dismount you if you are on the ground anyways?

    This should work while on flying mounts as long as you've landed on the ground.

    GoGoMount will not auto dismount if you are flying.

    I'll check this tonight to be sure auto dismounting is still working.
