6 - Exhaustion on blackrock foundry
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Join a raid in Blackrock Foundry
2.Have any shaman pop Heroism, tested it last night on lfr in an alt
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The Exhaustion (spellid 57723) shows on the Grid frames, it shouldn't show the icon and more since its a 10 minute cooldown.
What version of the product are you using?
GridStatusRD_WoD-v1.98
GridStatusRaidDebuff2 r24-nolib
Grid 6.0.3.1710-nolib and 6.0.3.1740-beta-nolib (had the issue before upgrading to the beta)
Do you have an error log of what happened?
no error log, just shows the icon on the frames
Please provide any additional information below.
Outside the raid, even on other raids it acts like normal but on BRF it pops the Debuff
Thank you

stassart Jul 29, 2015 at 21:55 UTC - 0 likesIt looks like there is a similar issue with Insanity from hunter pet's Ancient Hysteria and the Insanity from the Shadow Infuser trash mob in Hellfire Citadel.
Insanity from Ancient Hysteria:
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=95809/insanity
Insanity from Shadow Infuser:
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=188541/insanity
It looks like spell id 95809 also needs to be added to the ignore_ids.

stassart Mar 04, 2015 at 08:24 UTC - 0 likesNow that I knew what caused it I was able to add that debuff manually and test it. I was able to reproduce the issue. It is fixed in r28. You no longer need to manually disable the 163714 Exhaustion if you are using r28.
I was able to have the debuff and do a /console reloadUI with the fix and unfixed version back and forth to watch the bug appear and disappear.

stassart Mar 03, 2015 at 01:21 UTC - 0 likesThanks for providing your Grid.lua. I believe I know what the issue is now. This issue will come up again even after you cleared your settings.
GridStatusRaidDebuff works off debuff names for each zone to decide whether to display a debuff. Names instead of spell ids are used intentionally, otherwise we would need to configure every spell id for every difficulty.
You detected the following Exhaustion debuff:
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=163714/exhaustion
Which is then causing all Exhaustion debuffs to be displayed. I would have eventually been able to reproduce this issue, but it would depend on how long it would take for me to get hit by that debuff.
A temporary workaround is to click the "Load" button for Blackrock Foundry and uncheck the "Enable" box for this debuff.
I could do a workaround to only ignore this exhaustion.
But a better fix is probably to instead of only checking the source of the debuff when adding it, to also check the source of the debuff before displaying it. It may take me a few days to implement and test this fix. I need to make sure it doesn't have a performance impact either.
Thanks again.

enkil80 Mar 02, 2015 at 23:11 UTC - 0 likesIt showed when playing a shaman and using hero (alliance, not Bloodlust), but it did show on druid in lfr when a shaman did it, both using same config. It didn't show the debuff outside or in other raids. Also acts like normal when a mage uses time warp, but that's a different buff and debuff.
Here is grid.lua: http://pastebin.com/K7mgb0Z5
I'll use the libs embedded version tonight to see if that's the problem. Thanks

stassart Mar 02, 2015 at 22:27 UTC - 0 likesWith r27, you could try to clear all detected debuffs for Blackrock Foundry. The fix prevents the debuff from being added, but if it is already present it may still show up.
What class or classes is this issue appearing for? Is it happening on the shaman? I still need to finish leveling my shaman for WoD.
If you could attach a copy of your Grid config file to this ticket or e-mail it to me (I'll send you a PM with my e-mail address). That would be helpful for trying to solve this issue.
World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\[account]\SavedVariables\Grid.lua
You said you tried disabling all other addons except for Grid, GridStatusRaidDebuff, and GridStatusRD_WoD so it does not sound like it is an issue of interaction with another addon.
It sounds like you are running the -nolib version, I run the version with libs embedded. I will give the -nolib version a try to make sure that isn't the issue.
