What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
Due to changes in diminishing returns formula for dodge and parry in MoP the ideal parry/dodge ratio for getting the most avoidance from your combined rating is no longer trivial.
Important for reforge mainly since while DR differs, rating > % is exactly the same.
Please provide any additional information below.
I recently noticed some strange statistics on my warrior tank's actual avoidance statistics in our guild's combatlogs.
In particular over the many hits avoided over a raid night the percentage parried/dodged didn't match what the formulas (eg. AskMrRobot) or addons / macros floating around suggest.
So I went digging for the original material (Theck's and Mythol's blogs and Elitist Jerks) and redid the calculations taking into account the class and racial differences.
Bottom-line the 'popular' macros floating around (+ AMR reforging adviser) are only good for human paladins. (yay for them I guess :-p )
Long story short I'm attaching a modified Stats.lua file for PDFStats that should calculate proper parry/dodge ratio goals for the 3 plate classes at level cap.
The code is quite verbose on purpose so the logic and formulas are apparent for easier maintenance if something changes down the road.
I could have condensed it a great deal at the cost of clarity; I chose not so, so pardon the ugliness.
