41 - HUD compas points reversed

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Activate the minimap HUD.
2. Face north.
3. Execute a 90 degree clockwise turn of the character.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The compass SHOULD rotate 90 degrees clockwise in cohesion with the turn, winding up pointing due east - OR, the compass SHOULD (and does) rotate in a complimentary counterclockwise motion with the East <-> West directions switched, in the style of gyroscopic compasses. Instead, the compass rotates with the turn but without the directions reversed, with the result that East and West on the compass are exactly reversed.

It seems an obvious error so I may be making a stupid mistake, but every test I can think of confirms that east and west on the HUD's compass are directly swapped. This is annoying as I like to use the HUD to increase situational awareness during boss fights (in order to call out directions). I personally feel that for maximum effectiveness, the obvious solution is to reverse the direction of the spin on the compass. This should fix the issue directly. Alternatively, the compass could work more like classical fixed-read gyroscopic compasses. In this scenario, the current counter-motion spin could be preserved, but instead the compass points would be swapped on a vertical axis... NW<->NE, W<->E, SW<->SE. This would also provide correct readout of direction at the heading of the player, however it would cause east and west to appear swapped on the compas, reducing its usability as a situational awareness tool.
