SpamSay Example

An addon that allows you to say things only every few seconds. Useful for macros.
This lets you make a macro that announces your target without spaming your group:

/cast Polymorph
/sp Sheeping %t!

Even if you spam the macro, it will only announce that phrase every few seconds.
It also has a nice feature to let you announce in raid, party, or neither automatically.

How to use:

Just call this command with any text, and it will only say that phrase every 3 seconds:
Example: /ss Once every three seconds!

The "sg" command automatically uses the raid or party channel for you:
Example: /sg Send a message to whichever channel is best

Advanced features:

Alternatively, start with a number to only transmit every N seconds:
Example: /ss 60 Once a minute!

If you want to start your chat with a number, you can use an apostrophe:
Example: /ss '3 is the number of seconds I want!

Finally, you can use a zero to disable the limit, useful for using the group command:
Example: /sg 0 Send a message to group with no spam limit!

Channel Commands:

The nice thing about these is that they only try to speak if you're in the right group.
So example, the /sg command uses /ra if in a raid, /p if in a party, and nothing if you're in neither.
No more "You aren't in a party" errors!

  /ss - Uses say channel
/sg - Uses party or raid, or neither if not in group
  /sp - Uses party channel
  /sr - Uses raid channel
/srw - Uses raid warning channel
  /sgu - Uses guild channel
  /sbg - Uses battleground channel
