16 - Feature Request: Sort by DPS/HPS (in addition to Damage/Healing done)
Really love this addon. I do have one request though.. not sure if it's already implemented. Can you possibly add an option to sort by dps rather than damage? Sometimes I would like to see total dps ranked from top to bottom. Normally I'm under damage mode but there are a few times I would like to sort by dps.

From my perspective it seemed like you had deep personal reasons for not putting in DPS. I'm glad I didn't upset or offend you in anyway.
Thanks for taking my suggestion for implementing DPS in to consideration, even if you are going to implement it.. some day. lol ;) I would like to reiterate though that there are people whom would use the feature appropriately. There will always be bad apples in a bunch.
Though I will admit, I did find it ironic that the name of the addon is TinyDPS and yet never had the option to display DPS. Maybe it should be renamed to TinyDamageMeters or something... ;)
Not sure.. I think you can close the ticket or something. Hmm... unless I can do that.

For bugs and feature requests, I'd prefer they get posted here. I replied on WowInterface before I saw you had already submitted a ticket here.
I'm not sure how you interpreted my reply as being hostile or upset, but it wasn't my intention—nor how I feel. I may even add the feature someday; I was merely explaining my reluctance to do so.

I'm truly sorry if I've upset you or offended you in anyway. It was not my intention when asking for this feature enhancement. It appears you took it quite personal and again I apologize. There are plenty of educated people out their that do play and know the difference between dps and damage done overall. Mostly these are the hardcore players that take these things seriously (min/max), as well as those that just want to optimize their rotations. Its a shame that everyone else has to suffer for the few that abuse the usage of the word 'dps'. I just thought it would have been a nice addition to your addon. However, I do understand your motives and even your point of view. In the end this is your addon after all. I just merely asking for a feature enhancement to an already awesome addon. Thank you for taking the time to reply and give some feedback. I truly appreciate it :)
BTW... LOL we seem to be chatting both here and on WOW Interface. Which do you prefer?

However, my reluctance largely stems from the people I routinely encounter that are ignorant to the differences between damage/healing done and DPS/HPS when linking meters to chat. Without an elegant way to educate users, it's easier to prevent confusion by simply not including the option to begin with.
