This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

RaidAnnounce lets you define up to four messages and sends them to either Raid, Party, Raid warning or Battleground chat channels. Multiple channels can be set individually per message and RaidAnnounce will figure out the right one to send your message to based on the type of group you are in.

Where NUMBER is the number of the message. If no number is given, the default message will be send (the default message can be set in the RaidAnnounce options).

/raa config

RaidAnnounce uses a priority list based on the information that can be gathered from the WoW API and compares it with your per-message settings. It looks like this:

  1. Battleground
  2. Raidwarning
  3. Raid
  4. Party
  5. Say/Emote/Yell

Message Formatting

Lines starting with a hash character (#) will be treated as a comment and thus not be send.

The strings %t and %f will be substituted with your current target or focus respectively.

Starting with version 1.0-beta2, RaidAnnounce supports localization but the only available locale is enUS so far. If you are interested in contributing by translating RaidAnnounce into other languages, please visit the project's localization page.
